Starterculturen.nl werd in 2018 opgericht door de Nederlandse foodwriter ‘Meneer Wateetons’.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Hij had toen al verschillende boeken over worstbereiding en fermentatie geschreven. Een van de meest gestelde vragen die hij van lezers kreeg was:“ik vind de boeken geweldig, maar waar kan ik die starterculturen vinden die nodig zijn voor het maken van droge worsten\/tempeh\/miso etc”<\/em>. Nadat hij zijn lezers jarenlang te hebben gewezen op hun slager, of webwinkels in Japan, China of Indonesi\u00eb met krankzinnige verzendtijden en kosten, besloot hij deze producten zelf te gaan aanbieden.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Een webshop was geboren.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

De shop begon in het Nederlands en verkocht alleen starterculturen voor vlees, pekelzouten en darmen, maar breidde al snel uit met andere soorten fermentaties. Sinds enkele jaren is starterculturen ook beschikbaar in het Engels en sinds 2023 ook in het Duits. Momenteel biedt starterculturen.nl ongeveer 200 fermentatiegerelateerde producten aan.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Klantenservice<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Fermenteren is niet altijd gemakkelijk. Het werken met onzichtbare microben kan een behoorlijke uitdaging zijn. Gelukkig verkopen we niet alleen starterculturen en andere ingredi\u00ebnten, we gebruiken ze ook zelf en weten – doordat we er uitgebreid over geschreven hebben – heel wat over het gebruik ervan en de valkuilen.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Dus we begrijpen dat je soms vragen hebt en klantenondersteuning is daarom belangrijk voor ons. Gebruik gerust onze chatfunctie om al je vragen te stellen. Als we niet onmiddellijk reageren (we zijn een klein team), nemen we per e-mail contact met je op. We spreken Engels en Nederlands.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Het team<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Starterculturen.nl wordt nog steeds gerund door Meneer Wateetons, maar hij wordt bijgestaan door Joost (klantenservice en algemeen management), Arianne (verkoop, financi\u00ebn) en freelancer Luuk (alle technische zaken). Opslag, orderpicking en verzending wordt gedaan door het team van PostNL E-comm services en het verpakken en labelen door onze vrienden van ProVerpakken.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Oprichter, hoofd fermentatie goeroe<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Een pseudoniem. Lang verhaal, laat maar.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Oprichter van starterculturen.nl, wetenschapper, kok en auteur van negen kookboeken over fermenteren, worst en vleeswaren maken, roken, alcohol maken en frituren.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In zijn vrije tijd gaat hij gewoon w\u00e9\u00e9r koken.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Arianne is verantwoordelijk voor advertenties en alles wat met geld te maken heeft. Ze houdt van reizen, vooral van ‘vanlife’ en koken.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Als Dimayin<\/a> biedt ze Facebook- en Instagram-advertentiediensten en coaching aan.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Ze is ook smoorverliefd op meneer. En hij op haar.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Je vindt Joost in de chat, en hij beantwoordt de meeste e-mails over je bestelling. Ooit een beroemde jockey, totdat een zware val tijdens een concours in Normandi\u00eb hem dwong een andere carri\u00e8re te kiezen. Van Nederlandse afkomst, maar woont momenteel in het zonnige Brazili\u00eb.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Joost is ge\u00efnteresseerd in eenvoudige fermentaties en worsten, vooral als ze goed samengaan met Churrasco. Houdt van spectaculaire braadworst en hete saus, afkomstig van lokale ingredi\u00ebnten.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Luuk, als vaste freelancer verbonden met starterculturen.nl lost elk technisch probleem op. Tegenwerkende plugins, custom programmeerwerk, Luuk regelt het.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
