Het wordt ook wel simpelweg kefir genoemd, of soms kefir yoghurt. De drinkyoghurt is te koop, maar de meeste mensen maken het zelf. Het zit vol vitamines en mineralen en essenti\u00eble aminozuren. Daarnaast is melkkefir licht verteerbaar door een grote hoeveelheid rechtsdraaiende melkzuurbacteri\u00ebn. Ook is het heel gezond. Maar het verhaal gaat ook dat Mohammed (ja die) de drank daar persoonlijk is komen brengen. Het heeft een natuurlijke, frisse smaak, die soms wordt omschreven als een kruising tussen yoghurt en karnemelk. De consistentie van melkkefir zit ook ergens tussen yoghurt en karnemelk in. Dit resulteert in een drank met een grote diversiteit aan probiotica en een licht bruisend mondgevoel. Neem een liter volle melk en voeg daar 50 gram (twee eetlepels) verse kefirbloempjes aan toe (maar ergens tussen de 2 en 10 % is goed).<\/p>\n<p>2. Laat de melk afgedekt 24-48 uur bij kamertemperatuur fermenteren in een pot, bak, fles of anderszins.<\/p>\n<p>3.Wil je bubbels in je kefir, gebruik dan een afsluitbare container (bijvoorbeeld een plastic melkfles) zodat het koolzuurgas niet kan ontsnappen. Prefereer je platte kefir dan volstaat afdekken met een zakdoek, theedoek, los deksel of los gelegd plasticfolie.<\/p>\n<p>4.Schud of roer de kefir een paar keer rustig gedurende de fermentatie.<\/p>\n<p>5. Verwijder de kefirbloempjes door de kefir door een vergiet te gieten. De korrels kun je bewaren in wat melk, of invriezen, drogen of natuurlijk gewoon nieuwe kefir mee maken.<\/p>\n<p>6. Tussentijds spoelen met water wordt door sommigen gedaan, maar is niet per se nodig. Het helpt wel om de yoghurt van de korrels te krijgen.<\/p>\n<p>7. Optioneel: laat nog enkele uren of een dag afgesloten staan om weer volledig op druk te komen en prik te krijgen.<\/p>\n<p>8.
