Luchtbellen geven namelijk risico op bederf en ze ogen onappetijtelijk. Bovendien kan de worst erdoor barsten of scheuren.\u00a0Door de dunne naalden in een worstprikker kan er wel lucht uit de gaatjes, maar geen vlees, vocht of vet. Te gebruiken bij zowel kunstdarmen als natuurdarmen en voor zowel verse, als gedroogde, als gekookte worsten.
