What is citric acid?
This is an organic acid. It is found in citrus fruits and is a natural preservative and antioxidant. In addition, it is used to give a sour taste to food. It is a food acid with E number E330.

It has many applications. It is a natural preservative and antioxidant. It is widely used in cheese production, among other things to easily make mozzarella yourself and in the preparation of vegan cheeses. Paneer is also curdled using citric acid.
