This compact and portable multi fermenter can both cool (down to 5 °C) and heat (up to 45 °C) making it suitable for all your fermentation projects during any season, from yogurt to sausages and from koji to tempeh. Usage of the multi fermenter
The multi fermentor can heat, or cool, in increments of 1 degree through a thermoelectric (Peltier) system from 5 °C-45 °C with an adjustable constant temperature (variation +/-0.5 C)
This makes the fermention cabinet perfect for a wide range of applications, such as:
✅ Making tempeh (25-35 °C)
✅ Growing koji (25-35 °C)
✅ Fermenting or molding of sausages (20-30 °C)
✅ Ripening of sausages (12-15 °C)
✅ Cheese ripening (10-15 °C)
✅ Making natto (45°C)
✅ Making yogurt (32-45 °C)
✅ As an incubator for eggs
NOT suitable for black garlic (60 °C). Our dedicated black garlic maker is excellent for this.
Thanks to its 12V plug (equipped besides the standard 220V) you can also use it as a fridge (5 °C) while you’re traveling!! Enjoy a cool kombucha while your sausage is fermenting en-route!
Specifications
The modern LED digital display shows the current temperature, which is constant everywhere in the cabinet thanks to the fan. The multi fermentor has a handle for easy moving and two shelves that can be repositioned. For cleaning, you just take the bottom out. Easy-peasy! It is also a very discrete multi fermenter despite the transparent glass door: the lighting can be switched off and it has a silent mode, where the fan runs at a slow speed. Now you can truly ferment in all secrecy! Please note that the temperature control is most accurate with the fan on.

Please wash all trays and clean the inside of the multi-fermentor before first use. The fabrication process gives it a plastic smell, that must be washed of before first use with foodproducts.

It’s very handy to have this warmer, and it is very easy to keep an eye on the temperature. I use it to make Koji, Natto and Amazake. The manual says it can be used to hatch eggs too. One day, I’d like to try that. :) The only one thing is that the water comes out from the bottom and gets wet under the warmer. It because gets moist inside the warmer during the fermentation. But there is no tray to catch the water.
